A New Chapter in Craft Brewing: Swedesboro Brewing Opens the Raccoon Taproom in Collingswood

Exciting news for beer enthusiasts in Collingswood! Swedesboro Brewing is making a grand entrance into the local craft beer scene with the opening of their new Raccoon Taproom. Located in the heart of downtown on Haddon Avenue, this new venture marks a significant expansion for Swedesboro Brewing, who acquired the Devil’s Creek Brewery to set up their second location.

A Growing Legacy

Swedesboro Brewing, which first opened its doors in 2020 in Gloucester County. In just a few short years, they earned national recognition, securing second place on USA TODAY’s list of top ten new breweries in the United States. With over 40 unique beer offerings to their name.

New Adventure in Collingswood

The opening of the Raccoon Taproom is a thrilling development for Collingswood’s beer lovers. This new location brings a wave of innovation and fresh flavors to the town. The Swedesboro team plans to introduce six of their flagship beers to the Raccoon Taproom, offering a taste of their most popular creations. But that’s not all—they are also crafting six new and exclusive beers tailored specifically for the Collingswood palate. These unique brews will be available only at the Raccoon Taproom, giving locals a special reason to visit and enjoy.

Blending Tradition and Innovation

During my visit to the new location, I was struck by the careful balance Swedesboro Brewing is striving to achieve. They have been able to give the location a complete facelift while keeping the layout similar. The added bar seats along the windows as well has created the ability for more guests in the small tasting room.
